About Us
HISTORY
- The Philippine Civil Communications, Inc. is a civic, non-stock, non-profit, and non- government radio communication group. With different chapters nationwide. Our members came from various sectors of the society.
- The organization was established in 1980 and became member of different radio federations.
- In 1997, PHILCCOM INC. became an affiliated reserve unit of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM) under the Affiliated Reserve Group (ARG) as 701st (PHILCCOM) Signal Battalion. via a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) pursuant to Section 10 of Republic Act 7077 known as AFP Reservist Act.
- In the year 2000 and 2002, the unit was given an Award as the Best AFPARU of the year.
- Two of our personnel was given an award as Best Enlisted Personnel of the Year last 2004 and 2008.
- Since then, the group has been very active in various socio- civic operations in support to the mission of the command.

To be recognized as one of the Best Radio Communication, Professionalized, and Service-Oriented Organization in the Philippines.
VISION
To provide communication/assistance to the general public/government, in times of disaster, calamity, crisis, etc.

PURPOSE
Assist in rescue and relief operations. Report/ monitor any untoward incidence to the proper authorities.
Assist in socio- economic development. Help conserve the environment and other natural resources.
Conduct programs in support to the accomplishment of the command’s mission.
Assist the command in any operation that may require our skills and capabilities.
